FAQs

Q: What should I wear to show call?

A:  A long sleeved-shirt without any logos, and full-length black pants. You should also have a pair of black shoes (closed-toe/soft sole).

Q: If I have a conflict with a crew date, when should I mention it? Who should I tell?

A: You should mention it as soon as you know, and tell your crew head, your Stage Manger, and Fenty.

Q: What should I expect from Set/Props Crew?

A: Set/Props crew means that you will either be helping build sets, or helping to build props. You could be using power tools, painting, cutting fabric, using staplers, drills, hot glue, or other hand tools like scissors or diagonal snips. If you have any allergies to wood, metals, paint, glues, or any other concerns, please let your crew head know as soon as possible. If you are uncomfortable using power tools, please say something. When the show goes up, you will likely be on run crew through the run of the show. This changes per theatre space, but includes moving set pieces on and off stage, handing off props, and at the Reskin, being on the rail.

Q: What should I wear in the Scene Shop / Prop Shop?

A: You should tie any long hair back, wear closed toe shoes, and clothes that can get dirty or painty. Please cover any stomach and long pants.

Q: Prior to tech/performances, will there be Saturday calls for Set/Props calls?

A: No. Only Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9AM-12PM during the rehearsal period.

Q: When do I have to be there for Set/Props Crew?

A: Assigned Tuesday and Thursday mornings, as well as through tech and the run of the show.
