Below you can find information critical to understanding the crew schedule. First, two vitally important things to keep in mind while you are enrolled in Theatre Crew:

1.) DO NOT schedule any classes on Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 noon. This time is reserved for TTS crew calls which you cannot miss for another class.
2.) DO NOT make any travel arrangements unless you check the dates and times with your crew supervisor. If you have any questions, please contact your crew supervisor.
 

The first crew meeting will be announced soon, please check back. The location is in the Watts Theatre. This meeting is for ALL crew students.  

 

PLEASE NOTE:  YOUR CLASS SCHEDULE LISTS CREW AS MEETING TUESDAY & THURSDAY MORNINGS.

Most often Tuesday/Thursday mornings, Weeknights 6-11pm and Weekend days and evenings.

Tuesday and Thursday 9am-Noon is dedicated crew time.

You may not take a class or schedule any activity that conflicts with this time nor may you schedule a night class.

Check the crew call board for important information about your crew calls. 

Contact your show’s Stage Manager and the Crew Instructor with any questions.

There are two documents below that can help you further determine the general times you will be needed for your crew. 

1.) 2019-2020 Earliest and Latest Possible Crew Calls- this document lists the earliest and latest dates you can be called for the production to which you are assigned. Please check back soon for this document.

2.) 2019-2020 Production Calendar - the full production calendar for the 2019-2020 season. This shows all productions casting, tech, and performances periods.

More specifically, here are sample tech schedules that can be used to help you understand exactly what you'll be doing every day during tech (the week or two weeks immediately preceding opening).

 

Every production series at TTS has a slightly different tech schedule. Thus, find an example from each series below for your reference. Please keep in mind that these are not actual tech schedules for the productions you will be working on. These are simply samples based off of actual schedules. The Stage Manager on the production will release the actual tech schedule to you as you get closer to your tech week.
